Alhambra Oaks Motor Lodge

This motel was the cleanest motel we have stayed at in NZ. Absolutely perfect! I commented multiple times on how fresh everything was. We were extremely impressed. Location was handy to town, and the motel was nice and established with lovely tree's and a really homely feel. The lady on reception was just lovely, and very welcoming, which is exactly what you want when you are away from home. You can tell that the cleaners take pride in their job :)

The host Carolyn was exceptional. She accomodated all our requests and went out of the way to help us out as we were new to the country. The motel is centrally located and is just across the road from the University of Otago and there are many prominent schools around. There are many famous eating outlets and we found it very easy to find halal eating spots around this area. The room was very clean and tidy. We were more than happy with the choice of stay here.

Lovely big room, bath as well as shower, daily servicing, friendly and helpful staff, laundry on site, convenient location to walk to city or gardens. We have stayed here before and were very happy to return.

Lovely owner/manager - great room facilities, separate bedroom for child and comfy beds to sleep in with good heater for wet days, Well appointed kitchen and great location for access to the town and botanical gardens. Lovely hotel cat!

The lady at the reception is lovely. She helped us carry our luggages and agreed to keep them while we went to explore Dunedin. She was patient and gave us a room downstairs when she saw that we arrived with a lot of luggages. We stayed for 2 nights and the room was cleaned after the first night. Not many accommodation does that. The bed was comfortable and warm with layers of blankets. We enjoy the facilities and services provided.
